4. Anglian Tower and fort wall

 The wall in the foreground is Roman, the ones in the background Mediaeval (viewed from an internal Roman interval tower. The small tower visible in the background (open arched doorway) is known as the "Anglian Tower". Breaching the Roman wall this is one of the few dark ages stone buildings from Britain.
