Eboracum - the Roman remains of York

16. Porta Principalis Dextra

Inside a small cafe, the Bean and Gone, located to the right of Botham Bar, is a small part of the fortress gate, the Porta Principalis Dextra. It's very hard to see clearly, and even harder to photograph, as it is visible through the rather cloudy glass in the cafe floor.
